«Eastern fairy tale» requires investment, effective management, and coordinated interaction between government agencies and business structures.

Bukhara is one of the oldest cities in Central Asia, with a history of more than 2,500 years. It is one of the pearls on the rosary of the most beautiful and ancient cities of Central Asia. All travelers dream to get to this city, and for tourists visiting Uzbekistan, this ancient city is a must-visit point.

Bukhara is one of the most magnificent and beautiful cities in Uzbekistan. Here you feel like in an «Eastern fairy tale». Therefore, all visitors of Bukhara try to enjoy the amazing ensembles of the fairy-tale city, tread the same paths and paths as the great conquerors, thinkers and sages.

Bukhara is known all over the world. It attracts travelers from all over the world like a magnet, the number of tourists is growing every year and a significant part of the city’s population is engaged in tourism services. However, the growth of tourist traffic requires both improving the quality of service and improving infrastructure. Therefore, there are many problematic issues in the tourism sector that require urgent solutions, and their solution requires a coordinated joint work of representatives of government agencies and the business community. This is facilitated by the meetings of the «APTA Networking Club», initiated by the Association of private tourism agencies of Uzbekistan (APTA). Within the framework of «APTA Networking Club», representatives of government agencies and businesses in the tourism sector have an excellent opportunity to discuss in an informal setting all the problematic issues that hinder the development of the industry.

The location of «APTA Networking Club» meetings is always determined by the cities that have a huge tourist potential. The first two meetings of entrepreneurs and representatives of government agencies were held in Tashkent and Samarkand. The third meeting of «APTA Networking Club» was held on October 5 in Bukhara. It attracted a lot of attention from representatives of travel companies, hotels and family guest houses. The event showed that there are a lot of issues that concern entrepreneurs, and the range of topics is extremely extensive. Representatives of the tourism industry are very concerned about the lack of highly qualified personnel for the tourism industry. An equally important topic was the issue of improving infrastructure, which is extremely necessary for a comfortable stay of tourists. Special emphasis was placed on improving leisure time for tourists. After all, this will increase the number of days tourists stay in the city and, accordingly, increase the growth of income.

The participants of the meeting were able to get competent and detailed answers from representatives of the Khokimiyat of the Bukhara region. Khokim of the Bukhara region Uktam barnoev told about creative activities and prospects in the tourism sector of the region. During this meeting, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Khokimiyat of the Bukhara region and the Association of private tourism agencies of Uzbekistan (APTA).

The meeting in the framework of «APTA Networking Club» in Bukhara once again showed that the format with personal communication between entrepreneurs and representatives of state agencies is the best way to determine the best ways to solve urgent problems and form a coordinated interaction between state agencies and business structures.
