This is facilitated by the meetings of the «APTA Networking Club», initiated by the Association of private tourism agencies of Uzbekistan (APTA). The first two meetings of entrepreneurs and representatives of government agencies were held in Tashkent and Samarkand. The third meeting of «APTA Networking Club» was held on October 5 in Bukhara. It attracted a lot of attention from representatives of travel companies, hotels and family guest houses. The event showed that there are a lot of issues that concern entrepreneurs, and the range of topics is extremely extensive. Representatives of the tourism industry are very concerned about the lack of highly qualified personnel for the tourism industry. An equally important topic was the issue of improving infrastructure, which is extremely necessary for a comfortable stay of tourists. Special emphasis was placed on improving leisure time for tourists. After all, this will increase the number of days tourists stay in the city and, accordingly, increase the growth of income.
The participants of the meeting were able to get competent and detailed answers from representatives of the Khokimiyat of the Bukhara region.
